Following the success of the last two editions, BigHPC is back! The Special Track about Big Data and High-Performance Computing (BigHPC2025) is held alongside the Italian Conference on Big Data and Data Science (ITADATA2025) to highlight the enabling technologies for data science, including parallel, distributed, network-based, and quantum computing.
BigHPC2025 is led by the CINI National Laboratory on High-Performance Computing, Key Technologies, and Tools and it is part of the dissemination effort of the ADMIRE H2020 EuroHPC project.
Contributions are welcome from academia and industry, presenting research results on all
theoretical and practical aspects standing at the intersection of HPC and
big data as well as focuing on quantum computing paradigms.
The event focuses on contributions to HPC and quantum architectures,
algorithms, models, and management approaches for large data collections, including data
processing, analysis, reporting, data protection, experimental studies, hands-on insights,
datasets, and lessons learned.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
BigHPC25 accepts two different submissions for review, including:
Manuscripts must be submitted to the "BigHPC" track using the ITADATA submission site. The contributions will be evaluated and selected based on their quality, originality, relevance, and timelines.
As last year, we are working to provide a journal special issue. Authors of the best accepted original research papers—whether full papers or innovative extended abstracts—will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for evaluation. The details will be announced soon.
